I love mustelid haberdashery, vinho verde wine, and wensleydale with fruit.

True Grit

True Grit: A Novel - Charles Portis Did you see the Coen brothers movie? Then you read the book. True, the book is a bit funnier than the book, it's pretty faithful.

The book is pretty good, pretty solid, told from the viewpoint of Mattie, as an adult, as she reminisces over the quest she took to avenge her father's death. I thought the author did a good job of bringing the feeling of the time period through Mattie's thoughts and beliefs. It's a very short book, and an easy read, enjoyable from the first to last page.
