Bring Up the Bodies

Bring Up the Bodies - Hilary Mantel Mantel follows her award winning [b:Wolf Hall|6101138|Wolf Hall (Thomas Cromwell, #1)|Hilary Mantel|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1336576165s/6101138.jpg|6278354] with another award winning novel about Thomas Cromwell and the story of Henry VIII (and his many wives.)

It still amazes me, how easy it is to get immersed in these historical times with Mantel's writing. I know the story (and players), like many do, inside and out, and she STILL leaves me thinking & feeling, "What'll happen next!"

So interested, so riveting (even though we know what's going to happen next). I love the descriptions and the ideas/actions/thoughts coming from Cromwell's side of the story.

This story ends with Anne's beheading, and Henry's marriage to Jane Seymour. I am very interested how she will handle the next several years and Cromwell's fall.

I can't wait for the next one.
