Haruki Murakami is clearly (in my opinion) a great writer. I think the stories were largely well written, but I could not get invested in any of the characters or the stories. Many had a fantastical feel to them that appealed to me, but in the end, I just couldn't get like any of them enough to fall in love with this collection.
